Scholarships

ACHCA Scholarships

ACHCA believes that the quality of care and life in a Long Term Care Facility or Senior Housing begins with the Administrator’s quality of education. Therefore, ACHCA strongly encourages early career Administrators and students to apply for scholarships.  Available ACHCA scholarships include:

• George & Leah Hollander Memorial Scholarship
• Philip McConnell Student Scholarship Fund (sponsored by the ACHCA Ohio Chapter)
• Young Administrator Convocation Scholarship
• Students are granted the opportunity to share their scholarly and creative work during the annual Convocation while interacting with other students and colleagues from across the country by participating in the Student Poster Exposition.  Students participate through oral presentations and poster displays.

IHCF Scholarships

IHCF promotes the instruction and training of individuals for the purpose of improving their skills in the area of long term care which includes clinical care, health facility administration, and related areas. Through IHCF’s philanthropic mission, long term care professionals are awarded education and training scholarships for clinical, medical, and administrative positions in long term care.

IHCF scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions provided by long term care centers, IHCA Associate Members, sponsors of the IHCF’s annual golf outing, and additional sponsorship and funding from Success Development, Inc.
