Washington, DC – May 9, 2016 – The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) is proud to recognize the Indiana Chapter of ACHCA as a 2016 recipient of three ACHCA Chapter Achievement Awards, that were presented during the awards ceremony at ACHCA’s 50th Annual Convocation and Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

The prestigious Chapter Achievement Award recognizes a project developed by an ACHCA Chapter to address a member need or chapter goals and objectives. Preference is given to initiatives that support the mission of ACHCA and its strategic objectives. The chapter must meet exacting requirements that are evaluated by a committee of professionals to qualify for an award. We are especially pleased to present this dynamic chapter with three Chapter Achievement Awards in recognition of their accomplishments and exceeding the goals for their initiatives entitled, “Educational Offerings”, “Membership Recruitment”, and “Membership Retention.”

To enhance its ability to offer CE credits as a member benefit, the chapter increased its educational offerings from one in 2014 to five in 2015. The chapter’s membership recruitment efforts resulted in a 63 percent increase from 2014 to 2015. Finally, because of its efforts, the chapter was able to increase its membership retention rate from 61.5 percent in 2014 to 80 percent in 2015.

Successful completion of these initiatives is a service to the chapter and its members, the ACHCA, and the post-acute and aging services profession. The Indiana Chapter’s active participation and professional accomplishments represent viable endeavors for others to emulate, and have earned the chapter these coveted honors.
